Just a reminder to wear a bathing suit or cheer
bloomers and a sports bra saturday for the
fitting. I need to be able to tell if something
fits right so nothing bulky. Also a reminder the
$100 non-refundable camp fee is due at the
fitting. See you there @ 10am in the Monroe
Cafeteria~(place was changed again on me).
You'll receive your first 10 car wash tickets at
the
fitting as well. The way it works is when you
sell the first 10 tickets, bring me your money
and i'll give you 10 more. There's a limited
amount of tickets so it's first come first
served. Coach Christie *\O/*
That was a cute movie! Glad everyone but one
could make it. It was nice to have everyone
introduce themselves. Most of us (Olivia) stayed
awake! Look forward to meeting all your parents
again on the 22nd in the library @ 6pm. Still
need email addresses from Kaylee B, Alex, and
Breck-linn. Get those to me ASAP, Coach Christie
P.S. check this site everyday
just a note, i've seen some disturbing posts on
the website from some obviously distraught girls
who did not make the squad. Posting your comments
on here like that just goes to show your true
character. Life doesn't always seem fair and you
don't always get what you want, but these are the
times you need to try hard to work through it.
I'm sure something better for you is right around
the corner, but if you don't let go of this you
might miss it. Not making the cheerleading squad
is not the end of the world, its an opportunity
to experience something else.
The new 09-10 Varsity squad is:
Kiersten Barron, Kaylee Bobik, Brittany Brown,
Alex Celestine, Jordyn Celestine, Keely Clements,
Phoebe Danhauser, Emily French, Kailey Goodwin,
Merielle Haw, Nicole Henly, Jeni Huddleston,
Rebecca Leatham, Katie Lichtenberg, Mande Lucas,
Olivia McGuire, Breck-linn Patke, Kim Polinsky,
Kayla Stowell, and Rebekka Taylor. Please send me
a working email address as soon as possible to
goto.havasu@verizon.net. There is a mandatory
parent meeting on Apr. 22 in the library @ 6pm to
discuss the upcoming year. Great job ladies, I
look forward to working with all of you this
year. Don't forget the midnight movie tonight @
11:15. Please be there on time @ 11:15. We're
seeing 17 again. This is our first activity as a
new squad. See you there.
Well i've said it before but it needs to be
repeated. I love this squad! I will miss all my
seniors. Even though you had some rough patches,
you all are getting along now. Wish it wouldv'e
happened earlier but oh well. At least our end
of the year trip will be more fun with you people
getting along. Juniors, i would like you to keep
in mind how this year went. Try not to break each
other down in the beginning. Try to unite your
squad right from the start. It will prove to be
helpful all through out the year. And i might add
starts right now. The squad will only be as good
as the seniors want it to be. I can only do so
much. It's the attitude that the seniors and
returners have that teach the newbies right away
how they should act on the squad. How they are
expected to work hard, have commitment and
dedication to each other and the coach. You will
see if you unite how much easier your year will
be. Pretty soon we will be inviting some fresh
faces to our squad which we will all make all the
effort to make them feel like a welcomed new
addition. Even though they will be newbies, they
should never feel left out. I hope that the
returners will organize something to do as a
bonding experience. I'm looking forward to next
year and at the same time will be mourning the
exit of the seniors. They really did an amazing
job this year! All the little things were taken
care of. They thought of everything and made sure
everything was done. As well as taking care of
the coach. I can't tell them how much i
appreciate them. Such hard working dedicated
young women. I see all of them as huge success
stories. I wish them all the best in their
endeavors. Now it's on to the 09-10 squad! Let's
make it a great one too! Love to all, Coach
Christie
